I call this 'a love song from a ghost.' While there may be a playful element to this theme, it is also meant to represent the connection between the deceased and the living that continues on after a person leaves this realm. This is not meant to necessarily suggest a specific spiritual belief about an afterlife, but to offer the idea that we can remain connected through memory, objects, and our senses.
